#GETTING SNAPCHAT PASSWORD HACK VERIFICATION#
Also, should I be scared of any of my other accounts getting hacked? They all have different/difficult passwords and double verification however I would like to know if I can do anything else to prevent this from ever happening to me again. I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation, and whether they were able to regain their account back/how long it took for snap support to get back to them? I really do not want to lose this account as I have so many photos with family members I no longer have in my life and I would be devastated to lose them. My phone number and email appear to still be linked to my account. I did email snapchat three days ago as soon as this happened however they have not gotten back to me. Although I'm glad I was quick enough to kick them off, I still cannot get into my account as the second verification is still enabled to their device. After a back and forth feud over my account with them and I continuously changing my password, I finally was able to block them from access into my account.
Unfortunately they were on my account long enough to add a second verification and obtain my number and began sending me weird messages asking for my "for my eyes only" code. I'm not really sure how/why considering I have never given my password out nor logged into my account anywhere else other then on my phone, but thankfully since I always get updates I received a text/email rapidly of suspicious behavior. Sorry in advance for the lengthy post, but three days ago my snapchat was hacked.
